Launched From Your BrowserLinux and OS X Desktops are easily accessed at the User Portal where each operating systems is linked. Simply select an operating system, click 'Launch', and the desktop is generated using your credentials. Your desktop will load and appear within seconds and all sessions are private. Upload, download, and transfer files from your laptop or externally connected devices. Behavior associated with accessing OS X Lion will vary according to operating system and application. Linux users must have a Remote Desktop viewer supporting VNC (i.e., Vinagre for Gnome) which will be invoked after clicking our URL. Mac users need not worry as a default client already exists. This will not work, however, from a Windows PC unless running a 3rd party Remote Desktop client with VNC compatibility. |
